This week has been full of exciting album releases and another one I can’t stop listening to is Broken Bells. Aside from High Road, which we showed you the video a couple of weeks back, The Ghost Inside, Sailing To Nowhere and October are all unbelievable songs and a showcase of what two great musicians can accomplish when working together. I’m a huge fan of collaborations, and Brian (Danger Mouse) has continued to show an eclectic and tasteful sensibility for picking creative partners. From working with Cee-Lo (Gnarls Barkley), DF Doom (DANGERDOOM), to producing for blues-rock duo The Black Keys, his new project with Shin’s vocalist James Mercer has turned into another musical adventure you will want to experience. The duo is performing at a sold-out Troubadour this coming Sunday in LA, so check back for pictures.
